Archos G9 tablet update

Tablet updates

There are two ways to update your Archos G9 tablet - over the air or by visiting their website and downloading the latest firmware.

Over the air

1. Ensure you have a Wi-Fi or 3G connection
2. Select the "A" in the lower right hand corner of your device - click it, then download it
3. You can also check for updates on your device:
   • Select Settings
   • Select About tablet
   • Select System updates

On your tablet visit the Archos website to download the latest firmware

1. Select Support & account from the top tabs
2. Scroll down to select Downloads
3. Select Firmware
4. Select your model from the drop down list
5. Download the latest version of the software
6. Drag and drop this file onto the G9 tablet
7. Your device should automatically notice the firmware, select it to update
8. To ensure your device has saved the new version:
   • Select Settings
   • Select About Tablet
   • Select Firmware version
